Job description

We’re a dynamic digital agency looking for an experienced HR Manager to step into a key role during a maternity leave until June 2026. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape our HR strategy, collaborate closely with team leaders, and drive impactful projects in a fast-paced, digital environment. While the contract is limited, there is a possibility of extending the role beyond the initial agreement.


What you will do:

  • Be a trusted HR partner: Collaborate closely with team leaders to actively shape the strategic personnel planning, challenge team assessments, and handle critical conversations
  • Own and execute the recruiting process: From active sourcing to onboarding, ensure we hire the best talent for our team, in line with our agency standards.
  • Drive strategic HR projects: Develop frameworks e.g. for development talks, salary budgeting, and recruiting standards.
  • Lead employee feedback initiatives: Analyze results from our anonymous satisfaction surveys and guide team leaders to actionable insights.
  • Handle HR administration: Draft contracts, ensure compliance with policies, and take an active role in planning and hosting internal events.

Job requirements

What we expect:

  • Several years of experience in HR, ideally in a digital/agency environment
  • Successfully completed university degree
  • Basic know-how of digital marketing and agency workflows
  • Expertise in recruiting, strategic planning, personnel development and in developing and maintaining talent networks
  • Strong communication and consulting skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and conflict ability
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Availability for at least 25 hours per week, with flexibility for up to full-time
  • Based in Austria or Germany
  • Willingness to travel for internal events and workshops in Germany/Austria
